Beginner Advanced Beanie

Class Overview

In this advanced-beginner crochet class, students will create a warm, stylish beanie using super bulky weight yarn and a 9mm crochet hook. The class focuses on reinforcing basic stitches while introducing shaping techniques to complete a wearable winter accessory.

Objectives

By the end of this class, students will be able to:

• Crochet a beanie from start to finish

• Work confidently in the round

• Demonstrate single crochet (SC) and half double crochet (HDC)

• Perform HDC2Tog (half double crochet two together) for decreases

• Measure and adjust the fit of a beanie

• Properly finish, fasten off, and weave in ends

Students should bring or purchase:

• 9mm crochet hook

• Scissors

• Yarn needle
