Hello my name is LaJuan Hall. I started crocheting when I was a kid but stopped as a teenager. In 2004 I was on dialysis and decided that purchasing a book daily was too expensive. So, I decided to do something that would show I had progress. First I tried knitting. It was not my friend. So, I picked up a book learning how to crochet. Then I called my aunt who had taught me as a child to make this one thing. The prettiest thing I’ve ever made so I could remember. It was a square! So I made blankets, scarves and some hats. My favorite thing to make is a baby blanket. I love learning new things.
I am a left handed crocheter but coming to the store has made me fall in love with crochet all over again. I have learned so much and I continue to challenge myself by learning how to read patterns and making clothes.
Becoming a teacher for this is my newest challenge yes I have taught others how to crochet and I’d love to help you learn this AMAZING art. I’m also looking forward to teaching you all the new things I’ve learned about yarn since I’ve started coming to Creator’s Corner.
So, come join me in some crochet fun and let’s learn many new and exciting things.
