Koi

Koi, named after the Koi fish. As a mom with 2 young adult daughters, things that used to be routine are now few and far between. One of my favorite memories with the girls is from a trip to the local plant nursery. I was on the hunt for calla lilies and vine plants. The nursery had a beautiful koi pond surrounded by plants. They both immediately rushed over to feed the fish. It was beautiful to see them laugh and take a moment to just enjoy life and each other. 15 and 20 at the time, those moments of innocence and pure happiness seemed to be less frequent. I had to create a colorway to bring that memory back to life. This yarn is a standard 4 ply weight, made with 100% superwashed merino wool.
