The Luxury Blend collection is an exclusive blend from KINUA: 80% Fine Peruvian Merino Wool with 20% Baby Alpaca Suri. Baby Alpaca Suri fiber is characterized by its lustrosity, softness and thermal properties. Two fiber weights are available from the Luxury Collection: Fingering and Aran.
To source Fine Peruvian Merino Wool, we work directly with a small group of local farmers from the Andes Mountains, nearly 4000 meters (13,000 feet) above sea level, to hand-select small batches of the finest Peruvian merino wool. Each lot is scoured, milled, spun and quality controlled by our team.
Suri alpaca is one of our most adored and luxurious fibers. its unique luster and incomparable softness make it ideal for the creation of fine, heirloom garments. Combined with our merino wool fiber it makes for the perfect, luxury blend for your most cherished knitting projects. Today Suri alpacas only represent around 12% of the global alpaca population which makes it a rare and highly valued fiber.
