What We’ll Learn:

From your very first chain stitch to showing off your own handmade creations, we’ll guide you every step of the way!

• Basics for Beginners:
  
• How to hold your hook & yarn comfortably
• Chain Stitch (ch) – the starting point for most projects
• Single Crochet (sc) – tight and sturdy for many designs
• Double Crochet (dc) – looser, taller stitches for faster projects
• How to start and finish your work neatly
• Next Steps & Skills:
  
• Reading simple crochet patterns
• Changing colors
• Adding borders & edging
• Beginner-to-Advanced Projects:
  
• Practice pieces like headbands, scrunchies, or coasters
• Small amigurumi (stuffed toys) for adventurous beginners
• Bags, scarves, or hats for those ready to level up

What to Bring:

• Worsted weight yarn (#4)
• Crochet hook (5mm or 6mm recommended)
• Stitch markers
  (Don’t worry — we have supplies available for purchase if you don’t have your own!)

Extra Fun:

• Bring your own snacks & drinks or enjoy the ones we provide
• Meet other kids who love to create — Bring a friend, make a friend!

 Extras: We will also have special events on appointed days for the kids
